We design and implement consulting engagements that are focused on your objectives. We will not insist on a proprietary methodology that you must implement in lock-step fashion. Each and every client receives a “bespoke” approach to their particular challenges:
- We can implement focus groups, interviews, development sessions, retreats, coaching work, analysis of data, or any number of other methods. Our approach is totally dependent on your objectives and desired outcomes, and our priority is to create innovative and useful solutions for your business problems.
- Our engagements are based on a fixed fee so you don’t have to worry about a “meter running.” We look to provide a 10:1 return ratio on our clients’ investment in our work, and believe in both short-term and long-term gains. In fact, long-term gains are unlikely if we can’t produce short-term gains. Investments in the future should also yield immediate results.
- We work closely with you to maximize the results of the engagement and ensure a successful implementation. You will never receive a report and hear “That is the end of the story.” Continuing collaboration is an important key to success.
“A partner. If asked what first comes to mind when describing Scott, that is my answer – a partner. One of Scott’s strengths is his ability to become intimate with an organization – asking insightful questions to learn about the culture and then using this information to guide change. His MO is to ‘work outside of the box.’ He comes armed with a portfolio of products that he is able to transform into materials configured to meet an organization’s need. I cannot think of a situation where, because of Scott’s ability and attitude, we did not successfully solve the problem in a creative and action-oriented manner. Perhaps the best part of working with Scott is that he is a professional who can be trusted. Scott will treat you fairly and respectfully. The starting point of the discussion is ‘what do you need?’ Once answered, Scott’s response is always—‘there is a way and we will find it.’Working with Scott is a ‘sure thing.’’’

Our focus is on your results. We look to the hallmarks of our most successful engagements to codify those experiences and replicate them for you in a way that fits your organization’s culture. We can help you adopt the best practices of our most successful client engagements by identifying key organizational challenges, and using a proven set of strategies to overcome them:
Have you ever experienced a project that your organization began without a clear definition of success? What happened?
DEFINE: Take the time to clearly define the issues, objectives, and what success will look like. Establish a clear line of sight between what you are trying to accomplish and how that will provide the outcomes you are seeking.
How many initiatives have you seen fail because the key leaders are not in sync?
ALIGN: Create alignment among the key people involved in the initiative. Get clarity about key issues: Why is the initiative important? What are the plans to address the issues? What are the expected results? Who is accountable for the result?
Have you ever seen an engagement fizzle out because leaders did not drive and model the change?
INSPIRE: Find a champion or multiple champions to be the catalysts for your initiative. They will be the avatars who drive change and serve as the standard-bearers for new directions.
Have any of your efforts put too much emphasis on a single event to drive an outcome? How did that work out?
EXECUTE: Focus on the process for success. It may include some of the methods previously mentioned, like focus groups, interviews, development sessions, retreats, coaching work, analysis of data, or any number of other methodologies to implement your engagement. Make sure that the process is cohesive and not just a series of disparate events.
Has your organization ever been in a position of moving on to the next initiative before you finished the current set of priorities?
LEVERAGE: Share the success so that it can be replicated and understand the failures so they can be avoided in the future. Assess your gains and institutionalize your success by leveraging them across the organization.
